PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 45B (1) (b) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 3 (Departments) to that Act:

(a)	by inserting in alphabetical order of Departments the following matter:
Department of Education and Director-General of the Department

Training

Ministry for Forests and Marine Secretary of the Ministry

Administration

(b) by omitting the following matter:

Office of Marine Administration

Executive Director of the Office
Department of School Education	Director-General of the Department
Department of Training and	Director-General of the Department

Education Co-ordination

Public Finance and Audit Act 1983—Proclamation

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to update Schedule 3 to the Public Finance and Audit

Act 1983 in consequence of the following:

(a)	the change of name of the Department previously known as the Office of Marine Administration to the Ministry for Forests and Marine Administration,
(b)	the change of title of the Head of that Department,
(c)	the creation of the Department of Education and Training,
(d)	the abolition of the Department of School Education and the Department of Training and Education Co-ordination.
