PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) JAMES JACOB SPIGELMAN, Lieutenant-Governor.

I, the Honourable James Jacob Spigelman, Lieutenant-Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 40 (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 2 (Statutory bodies) to that Act by inserting in appropriate alphabetical order the following name:

State Valuation Office

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to make the State Valuation Office subject to the obligations relating to the keeping of accounts and the inspection and audit of those accounts under Division 3 of Parr 3 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1933, As a consequence of being added to the list o f statutory bodies in Schedule 2 to that Act, the State Valuation Office will also be subject to the reporting requirements under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984.
