PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983-PROCLAMATION

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 45B(1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation amend Schedule 3 (Departments) to that Act by inserting in alphabetical order in that Schedule the following matter in Columns 1 and 2, respectively:

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to make the Surveyor-General’s Department subject to the obligations relating to the keeping of accounts and the inspection and audit of those accounts under Division 4A of Part 3 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983. As a consequence of being added to the list of Departments in Schedule 3 to that Act, the Surveyor-General’s Department will also be subject to the requirements under the Annual

Reports (Departments) Act 1985.
