I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 40 (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 2 (Statutory Bodies) to that Act by inserting, in alphabetical order, the following name:

Health Care Complaints Commission.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to make the Health Care Complaints Commission subject to the obligations relating to the keeping of accounts and the inspection and audit of those accounts under Division 3 of Part 3 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983. As a consequence of being added to the list of statutory bodies in Schedule 2 to that Act, the Health Care Complaints Commission will also be subject to the annual reporting requirements under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984.
