PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 45B (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 3 (Departments) to that Act:

(a)

by omitting the matter relating to the following Departments: Department of State Development

(b)

by inserting, in alphabetical order of Departments, the following matter in Columns I and 2, respectively:

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The main object of this Proclamation is to make the various agencies referred to in paragraph (b) subject to the obligations relating to the keeping of accounts and the inspection and audit of those accounts under Division 4A of Part 3 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983. As a consequence of being added to the list of departments in Schedule 3 to that Act, those agencies will also be subject to the annual reporting requirements under the Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985.

The Proclamation also removes superseded references to certain agencies from

Schedule 3 to the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.
