PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State

of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 45B (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 3 (Departments) to that Act by inserting, in alphabetical order, the following words in Columns 1 and 2, respectively:

Ministry for Police	Director-General of the Ministry
Social Policy Directorate	Director of the Directorate

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to make the Ministry for Police and the Social

Policy Directorate subject to the obligations relating to the keeping of accounts and the inspection and audit of those accounts under Division 4A of Part 3 of the Public
Finance and Audit Act 1983. As a consequence of being added to the list of departments in Schedule 3 to that Act the Ministry for Police and the Social Policy
Directorate will also be subject to the annual reporting requirements under the
Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985.
