PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—PROCLAMATION

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 40 (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 2 to that Act:

(a)

by omitting the words “Chiropractors Registration Board” and by inserting instead the words “Chiropractors and Osteopaths Registration Board”;

(b) by omitting the following words:

Hunter Valley Conservation Trust.
Land Titles Office.

Valuer-General’s Department.

(c)

by omitting the words “Metropolitan Waste Disposal Authority.’’ and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the words “Waste Management Authority of New South Wales.”;

(d)

by omitting the words “Under Secretary of the Department of the Attorney-General and of Justice, being the corporation sole constituted under section 4 (1) of the Suitors’ Fund Act 1951.” and by inserting instead, in alphabetical order, the words “Director-General of the Department of Courts Administration, being the corporation sole constituted under section 4 (1) of the Suitors’ Fund Act 1951.”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to amend Schedule 2 to the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 to update and replace references to various statutory bodies as a consequence of recent administrative changes.
