PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New

South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance

of section 40 (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, do, by this

my Proclamation, amend Schedule 2 to that Act:

(a) by omitting the following words:

Chiropodists Registration Board.

(b) by inserting, in alphabetical order, the following words:

Podiatrists Registration Board.

Psychologists Registration Board.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to amend the list of statutory bodies in

Schedule 2 to the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983:

(a)	by omitting the reference to the Chiropodists Registration Board and by inserting a reference to the Podiatrists Registration Board (the Podiatrists Registration Board was constituted by the Podiatrists Act 1989, which repealed the Chiropodists Registration Act 1962 under which the Chiropodists Registration Board was constituted); and
(b)	by inserting a reference to the Psychologists Registration Board (constituted by the Psychologists Act 1989).

The amendments will make the Podiatrists Registration Board and the

Psychologists Registration Board subject to the obligations relating to the keeping
of accounts and to the inspection and audit of those accounts under Division 3 of
Part 3 of the Act.
