597 (Qua itsI"tu4 ANNO VICESIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 40 of 1971 An Act to Amend The Public Curator Acts 1915 to 1957 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 25TH OCTOBER, 1971] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Public Curator Act Amendment Act 1971. (2) The Public Curator Act of 1915 as amended from time to time is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Public Curator Act 1915-1971. 2. Amendment of s. 6 . Section 6 of the Principal Act is amended by- (a) omitting from subsection (1) the words " " the deputy public curator"" and inserting in their stead the words the senior deputy public curator" and one or more officers each to be called "deputy public curator " "; (b) omitting from paragraph (a) of subsection (5) the word " the " where it occurs after the words "extend to" and inserting in its stead the word a ".
