Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Public Corporations (West Beach Trust—Tax and Other

Liabilities) Regulations 1997.

Commencement

2. These regulations will come into operation on the day on which they are made.

Interpretation

3. In these regulations—

"Act" means the Public Corporations Act 1993.

Application of s. 29 to West Beach Trust

4. (1) Section 29 of the Act applies to the West Beach Trust.

(2) Subject to a determination of the Treasurer under section 29 of the Act, subregulation (1)

operates so as to impose liabilities on the West Beach Trust under that section—

(a)	with respect to a liability to land tax—from 30 June 1997;
(b)	with respect to other liabilities—from 1 July 1997.
