1—Short title
These regulations may be cited as the Public Corporations (Lotteries Commission—Tax and Other Liabilities) Regulations 1997.
2—Commencement
These regulations will come into operation on the day on which they are made.
3—Interpretation
In these regulations—
Act means the Public Corporations Act 1993.
4—Application of section 29 to the Lotteries Commissions
(1)Section 29 of the Act applies to the Lotteries Commission of South Australia.
(2)Subject to a determination of the Treasurer under section 29 of the Act, subregulation (1) operates so as to impose liabilities on the Lotteries Commission of South Australia under that section—
(a)with respect to a liability to land tax—from 30 June 1997;
(b)with respect to other liabilities—from 1 July 1997.
