AN ACT to validate and authorise certain payments

into the Consolidated Revenue Fund.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Short title.

1.    This Act may be cited as the Public Buildings

Act (Validation of Payments) Act, 1951.

Validation

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Public and authorisation

Buildings Act, 1937 (Act No. 52 of 1937)- of certain payments.

(a)	every payment of the proceeds of all rent	Cf. No. 52
of 1937.
derived from or in connection with the leasing or letting of any of the lands referred to in that Act, made prior to the coming into operation of this Act, into the Consoli- dated Revenue Fund is hereby made and declared to be lawful, and is confirmed on and from the time when the payment was so made;
(b)	the proceeds of all rent ref erred to in the next preceding paragraph-

(i)    which have been received before, but have not already been paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund at the time of coming into operation of this Act;

(ii)    which shall be received after the coming into operation of this Act,

shall be paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund instead of the Accounts referred to in that Act.
