(Relating to the investment powers of MetNorth Energy)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Treasurer and the Minister for Energy, and in pursuance of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Regulation 1995 is

amended:

(a)	by inserting in Schedule 3 after the words “MetNorth Energy” the words “(except for such funds in respect of MetNorth Energy as are referred to in Schedule 4)”;
(b)	by inserting in alphabetical order in Schedule 4 the following matter:

MetNorth Energy, in respect of such funds of or under the control of MetNorth Energy as are determined by the Treasurer

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to upgrade the investment powers of MetNorth Energy in respect of certain funds from Part 3 to Part 4 of Schedule 4 to the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act
1987, including section 43 (the general regulation-making power) and section 24.
