HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Treasurer, and in pursuance of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Amendment

1. The Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) General Regulation 1990 is amended by inserting after clause 3 the following clause:

Declaration of authorities

4. Pursuant to section 6 of the Act, the following are declared

to be authorities for the purposes of Part 2 of the Act:

Lands Administration Ministerial Corporation
NSW Grain Corporation Limited
SRA Locomotive Securities Limited
State Authorities Superannuation Board
Sydney Entertainment Centre
Tadina Pty. Limited
Talamba Pty. Limited

Repeals

2. The following Regulations are repealed:

the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) (Transport
Authorities) Regulation 1987;
the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) (Declaration
of Authorities) Regulation 1987;
the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) (State
Authorities Superannuation Board) Regulation 1988;
the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) (Lands

Administration Ministerial Corporation) Regulation 1990;

any Regulation deemed, pursuant to clause 7 of Schedule 6 to the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, to

have been made under that Act, other than the Public

Authorities (Financial Accommodation) Securities Regulation
1982.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) General Regulation 1990 to consolidate into the one provision various regulations under which authorities are declared to be authorities for the purposes of Part 2 of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987. That Part deals with financial accommodation and other financial arrangements in respect of authorities (being either corporations listed in Schedule 1 to that Act or persons, corporations or other bodies declared by the regulations).
