and on the recommendation of the Treasurer, and in pursuance of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) General Regulation

1990 is amended by inserting in clause 4 in alphabetical order of

authorities the words “University of New England”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Public Authorities (Financial

Arrangements) General Regulation 1990 to declare the University of New England

to be an authority for the purposes of Part 2 (Financial accommodation) of the
Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, including section 43 (the general regulation-making power) and

section 6.
