(Relating to electricity generators)

HIS Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, has been pleased to make the Regulation set

forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 March 1996.

Amendment

2. The Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Regulation 1995 is amended by inserting in Schedule 3, in alphabetical order, the names “First State Power’’ and “Macquarie Generation”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to confer investment powers on 2 electricity

generators-constituted under the Energy Services Corporations Act 1995.

This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, including section 43 (the general regulation making power) and section 24.
