His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the University of Technology, Sydney as an authority for the purposes of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987. The prescription will enable the University, for the purpose of exercising its functions, and in accordance with the written approval of the Treasurer, to obtain financial accommodation.

This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, including sections 3 (1) (Definitions) and 43 (the general regulation-making power).
