His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Treasurer and the Minister for Education and Training, has made the following Regulation under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to upgrade the investment powers of Macquarie University, described in Part 2 of Schedule 4 to the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, to Part 4 of that Schedule. Investments of any kind are authorised under Part 4.
This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, including section 43 (the general regulation making power) and section 24.
