His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to declare that the Forbes Rural Lands Protection Board is an authority for the purposes of Part 2 of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987. That Part deals with the way in which authorities may, for the purpose of exercising their functions, and in accordance with the written approval of the Treasurer, obtain financial accommodation.

This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, including sections 6 and 43 (the general regulation-making power).
