His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to replace the reference to the Building Services Corporation (BSC) in Schedule 2 to the Public Authorities Financial Arrangments) Regulation 1995 with a reference to the Fair Trading Administration Corporation (FTAC). The BSC was dissolved on 1 May 1997 and its assets. rights and liabilities immediately before that dissolution were transferred to the FTAC. This amendment will give the FTAC the investment powers described in Part 2 of Schedule 4 to the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987.

This Regulation is made under the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987, including sections 24 and 43 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation

Regulation 1995
The Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Regulation
1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.
