PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE

ELECTION ENABLING ACT.

Act No. 1, 1918.

All Act to provide for the nomination, election, and George v,

appointment of the Public Accounts Com­ mittee for the present Parliament; to amend the Audit Act, 1902; and for purposes consequent thereon or incidental thereto. [Assented to, 27th Februar}-, 1918.J

“O E it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty,

1 I by and with the advice and consent of tbe Legis­

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by tbe authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as tbe “ Public Accounts short title.

Committee Election Enabling Act, 1918.”

2. The nomination, election, and appointment of the Appointment

members of tbe Public Accounts Committee for the ^

present Parliament may, notwithstanding anything in Committee

the Audit Act, 1902, be made and held under and in „

the manner prescribed by the said Act MTthin thirty

days from tbe commencement of this Act.
