An Act to amend the Psychologists Act 1994
[Notified in ACT Gazette S43: 16 July 1999]
The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:
Name of Act
This Act is the Psychologists (Amendment) Act 1999.
Commencement
This Act commences on the day it is notified in the Gazette.
Act amended
This Act amends the Psychologists Act 1994.1
Substitution
Sections 57, 58 and 59 are repealed and the following sections substituted:
Definition
In this Part—
commencement day means the day this section comes into operation.
Certain applications for review taken to be withdrawn
All applications made to the Board under subsection 57 (4) of this Act before the commencement day that have not been decided are taken to be withdrawn.
All applications made to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal under section 58 of this Act before the commencement day that have not been decided are taken to be withdrawn.
Expiration of Part
This Part ceases to have effect 12 months after the commencement day.”.
