| in tlie Governor of New South Wales for the time-being- vested in and by a certain Act of Parliament passed in the fourtli year of the reign of His present Majesty intituled “ An Act to provide until “ the jirst day of July one thousand eight hundred and twenty-seven “ and until the end of the next Session of JParliannent for the better “ Administration o f Justice in New South Wales and Van Diemen's “ Land and for the more effectual Government thereof and for other “ purjwses relating thereto” certain Courts of Civil Jurisdiction called “ Courts of Requests” have been instituted with power and authority to bear and determine all matters and things cognizalde in the said |

Com'ts o f Requests EstabUshed.
Courts and certain forms and rules of practice have been settled and certain fees have been appointed to be taken for the conduct and dispatch of business in the said Courts and whereas the said Act hath been continued for a limited time and will cease to have effect from and after the first day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty-nine and it is expedient that the said Courts of Ilequests instituted in pursuance of the said Act should continue to be holden and that the forms and manner of proceeding in such Courts should he followed until further provision shall be made with respect to the
