His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to allow authorised officers and employees of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust or the Parramatta Stadium Trust to issue penalty notices for certain offences under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.
This Regulation is made under the Protection of the Environment Operations Act

1997, including sections 226 and 323 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Protection of the Environment Operations (Penalty Notices) Amendment (Authorised Officers) Regulation 2000.

The Protection of the Environment Operations (Penalty Notices)

Regulation 1999 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Omit clause 6 (5) (i). Insert instead:

(i)        class 9—an officer or employee of the Bicentennial Park Trust, of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust, of the Parramatta Stadium Trust or of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust,
