Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Act 1986.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Schedule (Part V—Natural Science Objects of Australian Origin)

2.1 Paragraph 2 (i):

Omit the paragraph substitute:

“(i) any holotype of Australian origin:

(i) not lodged in an overseas collecting institution: or

(ii) in relation to which a permit under section 24 of the Wildlife Protection (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1982 is not in force.”.
