Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage

Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Act 1986.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Protection of Movable Cultural Heritage Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Schedule

2.1 Part V, paragraph 2 (i):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

“(i) any holotype of Australian origin:

(i) that is not lodged in an overseas collecting institution; or

(ii) in relation to which a permit or an authority issued under the Wildlife Protection (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1982 is not in force.”.
