By this proclamation, I, the Governor, acting under the Constitution Act 1889 section 3—

(a) prorogue the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly; and
(b) dissolve the Legislative Assembly,

as from the time of the publication of this proclamation in the Government Gazette
on Thursday 7 August 2008.
Issued under my hand and the Public Seal of the State at Perth on 7 August 2008.
