His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Property, Stock and Business
Agents Act 1941.
FAYE LO PO´, M.P.,
Minister for Fair Trading
Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to omit item 7 of clause 39 (which makes full payment of the purchase price within a specified time a condition of sale by auction of land or livestock) from the Property, Stock and Business
Agents (General) Regulation 1993 in order to reduce unnecessary regulation.
The Meat Industry Review Group recently recommended that the clause be
omitted as it no longer has any public benefit. This Regulation is made under the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act
1941, including sections 85B and 92 (the general regulation making power).
