Documents) Regulation 1998

Property, Stock and Business Agents Act 1941
His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act 1941.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:
(a) to amend the provisions of the Property, Stock and Business Agents (General) Regulation 1993 that currently provide for the sending of certain documents by certified mail, and (b) to provide, instead, that the documents concerned may be sent by registered post (which has replaced certified mail) or (in 2 cases) by facsimile. This Regulation is made under the Property Stock and Business Agents Act 1941, and, in particular, under sections 38A (Furnishing of particulars of trust account or transactions), 42A (Review of commissions, fees etc) and 92 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Property, Stock and Business Agents (General) Amendment (Service of Documents) Regulation 1998.
