Amendment Act 1999 No 4—

Proclamation

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Property (Relationships) Legislation Amendment Act 1999, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 28 June 1999 as the day on which that Act (except Schedule 2.25) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Property (Relationships) Legislation Amendment Act 1999 except for certain provisions that amend the Wills, Probate and Administration Act 1898 with respect to the rights of de facto spouses under the law relating to distribution of intestate estates, and in other consequential respects.
