s1 2 s4 Property Agents and Motor Dealers (Motor Dealing No. 120, 2001 Practice Code of Conduct) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2001 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Property Agents and Motor Dealers (Motor Dealing Practice Code of Conduct) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2001 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 August 2001. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Property Agents and Motor Dealers (Motor Dealing Practice Code of Conduct) Regulation 2001. 4 Amendment of schedule (Motor dealing practice code of conduct) (1) Schedule, section 15— insert — ‘ Examples of harassment — 1. Using, or getting a third party to use, threatening or intimidating language or behaviour towards a client or customer. 2. Engaging in conduct that would make an ordinary person feel unwillingly compelled to comply with an agent’s request or demand. ’. (2) Schedule, section 23(3)(b), after ‘any’— insert— ‘rebate, discount, commission or’. (3) Schedule, section 23(4), definition “customer” — omit, insert— ‘ “service provider” means a provider of professional services associated with the purchase or sale of a used motor vehicle.’. (4) Schedule, section 31, ‘a prospective customer’— omit, insert— ‘a customer’.
