Colony Be it therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Mos t Exce l len t Majesty by and wi th t h e advice and consent of t he Legis la t ive Counci l and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled and by the au thor i ty of t h e same as follows :—

1. The first second a n d t h i r d sections of t h e Imper i a l A c t fifty-

four th George t h e Th i rd chapter fifteen a n d t h e fifteenth a n d seven­

t e e n t h sections of t h e Imper i a l A c t fifth and s ixth Wi l l i am the F o u r t h

chap te r s ix ty- two so far as they apply to th i s Colony a n d also t he first

section of t he Colonial Act twen t ie th Victor ia n u m b e r th i r ty -one a re

hereby repealed.

2. N o t h i n g he re in conta ined shal l prejudice or affect t h e val id i ty

of any Affidavit or Declara t ion lawfully m a d e before t he pass ing of th i s A c t or any proceeding lawfully t aken or any act lawfully done u n d e r or by v i r t u e or in consequence of any such Affidavit or Declara t ion .

3 . This A c t shal l be styled a n d may be cited as t he " Proof b y

Declara t ion Abol i t ion Ac t of 1 8 6 1 . "
