PROHIBITED WEAPONS ACT 1989—REGULATION

(Including blow-guns as prohibited weapons)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Prohibited Weapons Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 July 1991.

Amendment

2. The Prohibited Weapons Regulation 1990 is amended by inserting

at the end of clause 5 the following subclause:

(2) Schedule 1 to the Act is amended by inserting in appropriate

order the following:

(31A) Any blow-gun capable of projecting a dart.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to add blow-gums to the list of articles that are

prohibited weapons with the meaning of the Prohibited Weapons Act 1989.
