137 ANNO QUINTO DECIMO ELJZAEETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE. No. 18 of 1966 An Act to Amend "The Primary Producers' Organisation and Marketing Acts, 1926 to 1965," in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 15TH DECEMBER, 1966] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. (1) Short title . This Act may be cited as " The Primary Producers' Organisation and Marketing Acts Amendment Act of 1966." (2) Principal Act. " The Primary Producers' Organisation and Marketing Acts, 1926 to 1965," are in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) Collective title . The Principal Act and this Act may be collectively cited as " The Primary Producers' Organisation and Marketing Acts, 1926 to 1966." 2. Amendment of s. 30 (7). Subsection (7) of section thirty of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the first paragraph and the two provisoes thereto and inserting in their stead the following paragraphs:- " The Queensland Cane Growers' Council shall consist of representatives of district cane growers' executives who shall be respectively a member or members of the district cane growers' executive in question appointed by it.
138 Primary Producers ' Organisation , Etc., Amendment Act oj' 1966. No. 18 The Governor in Council may by Order in Council authorize any such executive to appoint either two or three of its members to so represent it. Save as authorized by such an Order in Council, each such executive shall be entitled to so appoint one, and not more than one, of its members. The whole number of representatives comprising the said Council shall be deemed to be varied. by, and as necessary, to give effect to, an appointment or appointments of such a representative or representatives authorized by such an Order in Council."
