WESTERN AUSTRALIA} By His Excellency Lieutenant General John Murray

John Sanderson, Sanderson, Companion of the Order of Australia,

Governor. Governor of the State of Western Australia.

I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Young Offenders Amendment Act 2004 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council—

(a)

fix 1 January 2005 as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than sections 6, 7 and 40 and Schedule 1, come into operation; and

(b)

fix 1 July 2005 as the day on which sections 6, 7 and 40 and Schedule 1 of that Act come into operation.
