I, the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator, acting under the Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking) Act 2004 section 2 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix 1 January 2006 as the day on which that Act, other than sections 50, 51 and 52, comes into operation.
