Proclamation under the Water Act 1957

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Rivers and Water Supply Commission, by this my proclamation made under section 26(1) of the Water Act 1957  –

(a) appoint the district defined in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be an irrigation water district; and (b) name that district the Penna Irrigation Water District; and (c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
