Proclamation under the Water Act 1957

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the report of the Rivers and Water Supply Commission, by this my proclamation made under section 120 of the Water Act 1957  –

(a) declare the area of land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be a drainage area under the name "Western Creek Drainage Area"; and (b) direct that the area be administered by a board of 5 trustees; and (c) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1982, No. 19; and (d) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
