Proclamation under the Valuation of Land Act 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 20(9) of the Valuation of Land Act 2001  –

(a) fix 1 July 2009 as the date on and after which the fresh valuation of all lands within the valuation districts comprising the municipal areas of Central Highlands, Devonport, Hobart, Huon Valley, Kentish, Kingborough, Latrobe, Southern Midlands and West Coast comes into force; and (b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the proclamation) This proclamation fixes 1 July 2009 as the date on and after which fresh valuations of all lands within the municipal areas of Central Highlands, Devonport, Hobart, Huon Valley, Kentish, Kingborough, Latrobe, Southern Midlands and West Coast come into force.
