Proclamation under the Nature Conservation Act 2002

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 12(1) of the Nature Conservation Act 2002  –

(a) declare the private land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of private nature reserve; and (b) give the name Iris Farm Private Nature Reserve to that reserved land; and (c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which it is registered in accordance with section 22 of that Act.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the proclamation) This proclamation –

(a) declares an area of private land to be a private nature reserve; and (b) gives the name Iris Farm Private Nature Reserve to that private nature reserve.
