Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and with the consent of the owner of the private land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation, by this my proclamation made under sections 14(1) , (1A) and (1B) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970  –

(a) declare the land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be a conservation area; and (b) give the name Marion Bay Spit Conservation Area to that conservation area; and (c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which it is registered in accordance with section 16A of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the proclamation) This proclamation –

(a) declares an area of land to be a conservation area; and (b) gives the name Marion Bay Spit Conservation Area to that conservation area.
