Proclamation under the Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011  –

(a) fix 1 March 2012 as the day on which that Act, other than sections 6 and 64 and Schedules 1 and 1A, commences; and (b) fix 1 April 2012 as the day on which sections 6 and 64(2) of, and Schedule 1A to, that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the proclamation) This proclamation –

(a) fixes 1 March 2012 as the day on which the Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011 , other than sections 6 and 64 and Schedules 1 and 1A, commences; and (b) fixes 1 April 2012 as the day on which sections 6 and 64(2) of, and Schedule 1A to, that Act commence. Section 64(1) of, and Schedule 1 to, the
