I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Local Government (Building and Miscellaneous Provisions) Amendment Act 1998 fix 31 July 1998 as the day on which that Act commences. 23 July 1998
