Proclamation under the Land Valuation Act 1971

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 21(2) of the Land Valuation Act 1971  –

(a) fix 1 July 1998 as the date on and after which a fresh valuation made under section 21(1) of that Act of all lands within the municipal areas of Waratah-Wynyard, Dorset, Derwent Valley, Sorell and King Island comes into force; and (b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
