Proclamation under the Land Valuation Act 1971

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 21(2) of the Land Valuation Act 1971  –

(a) fix 1 July 2000 as the day on which a fresh valuation, made under section 21(1) of the Act, of all land within each of the municipal areas of Brighton, Central Coast, Circular Head, George Town and Northern Midlands comes into force; and (b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
