Proclamation under the Dangerous Substances (Safe Handling) Act 2005

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Dangerous Substances (Safe Handling) Act 2005 fix 1 July 2009 as the day on which that Act commences. 15 June 2009

(a) the Dangerous Goods and Substances (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Act 2005 ; and (b) Parts 2 and 5 of the Dangerous Goods and Substances Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2008 ; and (c) the Dangerous Goods Amendment Act 2005 .
