Proclamation under the Animal Welfare Act 1993

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 49 of the Animal Welfare Act 1993 declare –

(a) RSPCA Australia Inc. (ABN 99668654249) to be a society for the purposes of that Act; and (b) that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
