Commencement Proclamation

under the

Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2012 No 53

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2012, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 October 2012 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (other than Schedule 8) commence.

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to commence all uncommenced provisions of the Workers Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2012 other than the provisions relating to commutation of compensation.
