I, the Governor, acting under the Road Traffic Amendment Act (No. 2) 2007 section 2 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day after the day on which the Road Traffic Amendment Act 2006 sections 17 and 31 come into operation as the day on which section 26 and Part 2 Division 5, other than section 38, come into operation.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the State on 27 June 2008.

Notes: Under section 2 of the Act, section 38 also comes into operation on the day

fixed by this proclamation.

The Road Traffic Amendment (Novice Driver Penalties) Regulations 2008 come into operation on the day on which sections 26 and 35 of this Act come into operation under this proclamation.
