I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Road Traffic Amendment Act 2000, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council —

(a)

fix the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which sections 3, 17(1), 34 to 37, 47(3) and 67 of that Act come into operation;

(b)

fix 5 February 2001 as the day on which sections 18, 23, 24, 27, 29 and 48 of that Act and Schedule 1 to that Act, except clauses 3 and 5, come into operation.
